Solution :
The displacement of rod AB is increased due to magnetic force exerted on it, if : <br> (i) If the current in the rod is increased then rod will be deflected with greater force. <br> (ii) If a stronger horse-shoe magnet is used then also rod will be deflected with greater force due to the increase in magnetic field. <br> (iii) If the length of the rod AB is increased.
